1. Overview
At TheBookshub, we are committed to providing you with high-quality books. We understand that sometimes you may need to return a purchase. This policy outlines the conditions under which returns and refunds are accepted for both our online and physical store customers.
2. General Return Conditions

Eligibility Window: You have 7 calendar days from the date you receive your order (for online purchases) or the date of purchase (for physical shop purchases) to initiate a return or exchange.

Condition of Item: To be eligible for a return, the book must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging (if applicable).

Non-returnable Items:

Digital products (e.g., e-books, downloads).

Gift cards.

Books with clear signs of use, damage, or missing pages not due to our error.

Items marked as “Final Sale.”

Proof of Purchase: A valid receipt or proof of purchase (online order number or physical store receipt) is required for all returns and exchanges.
3. Online Order Returns (WooCommerce)
A. Damaged or Incorrect Items
If you receive a damaged book or an incorrect item due to an error on our part:

Contact Us: Notify us immediately (within 48 hours of delivery) by calling or WhatsApping us at 0322 4026482 or emailing [Your Primary Customer Service Email]. Please include your order number and photos of the damage or incorrect item.

Return Shipping: We will arrange for the return shipping of the damaged/incorrect item at no cost to you.

Resolution: Upon receiving and inspecting the item, we will either send you a replacement book or issue a full refund, as per your preference.
B. Change of Mind
If you wish to return a book due to a change of mind:

Initiate Return: Contact us within 7 days.

Return Shipping: You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning the item to our Urdu Bazar location. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Refund: Once the book is received and inspected, we will notify you. If the condition is acceptable, a refund for the price of the book will be processed.
4. Physical Shop Returns (Urdu Bazar)

Returns for purchases made at our Urdu Bazar shop must be brought back to the same location within the 7-day window.

The item must be accompanied by the original receipt.

If the return is accepted, you will receive an exchange or store credit. Cash refunds for physical purchases are subject to management approval and availability.
5. Refunds (Online Orders)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email notification regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment (e.g., JazzCash, EasyPaisa, or bank account) within 7-14 business days.

6. Exchanges
We primarily offer exchanges only for books that are defective or damaged upon arrival. If you need to exchange a damaged item for the same book, please contact us first.
